Using a punty (an iron pole), senior Cheyenne Buchanan merges a cooling mass of glass with a molten glob that is glowing inside a mold. Buchanan is working inside the Pace-Willson Glass Studio, a full-scale glass facility located in the Woldenberg Art Center.

Teaching assistant and alumnus Jonathan Rothschild fuses the newly adjoined pieces inside a furnace.

As the glass cools, Buchanan and Rothschild discuss the project.
