Nadine Vorhoff Library
This semester, the Nadine Vorhoff Library will begin a transition from a circulating collection to a non-circulating special collection library. Current special collection holdings will include the culinary history collection, a selection of women's prescriptive literature, the Newcomb authors collection, the Custard sexuality collection, and a collection of third wave feminist zines. This modification will allow us to devote more resources to collecting, organizing, and preserving these special collections materials (including the Newcomb Archives) and making them accessible to the Tulane community and visiting scholars.
For more information on our special collections, see https://tulane.edu/newcomb/vorhoff-collections.cfm
For more information on Newcomb archives and manuscripts, see https://tulane.edu/newcomb/archives.cfm
We will begin transferring materials in the circulating collection to the Howard- Tilton Memorial Library over the next year. Throughout this process, the library will still be open as a study space and materials should be available to check out.
