Located on the first floor of the Caroline Richardson Building, the Vorhoff Library contains some 12,000 books on women, gender issues, and culinary history.

Areas of specialization within the library include the higher education of women and the history of southern women. In addition, the library also subscribes to more than 100 journals and newsletters.

The library is named in honor of Nadine Vorhoff, who as president of the Newcomb Alumnae Association helped to raise the funds to establish the library in 1975.
