The Nadine Vorhoff Library is a non-circulating special collection library. We invite researchers at all levels to visit us. We collect materials in the areas of culinary history, prescriptive literature, Newcomb authors, and third wave feminist zines. We also maintain a strong collection on women's education, women in the arts, local women mystery writers, and the Marla Custard collection on sexuality.

Open hours are Monday through Friday, 12pm-4pm, or by appointment.

Many books currently housed in the Vorhoff are now also part of the Howard-Tilton Library. These books can be checked out using the online Tulane library catalog. You will then use the "Make a Request" feature in the online library catalog. These requests can also be made directly, in-person, at the Circulation Desk in the Learning Commons of Howard-Tilton, on the library's first floor. This will allow the standard 24-hour (weekdays) turnaround for access to materials.

Students may continue to use the atrium of Caroline Richardson as a study space.
