What do Newcomb Scholars do after graduation?

Newcomb Scholars pursue vast and various opportunities after graduation. From graduate study to corporate consulting, Newcomb Scholars continue to be intellectually curious and motivated women pursuing academically diverse interests even after they have graduated from the program.



Katie Weaver was accepted to 3 top-tier graduate programs and will be pursuing an MA in Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University.


Gisele Calderon has accepted the Whitaker International Fellowship to conduct research for a year in Lusanne, Switzerland, after which she will begin Rice University's Bioengineering program in August of 2014.

Alex Yarost accepted a consulting position at Quorum Business Solutions, a software and consulting firm in the energy industry. She will be at Quorum's Houston office.

Meagan Knowlton will be a teaching assistant with the Teaching  Assistant Program in France, led by the French Embassy.

Nicolette Guillou was accepted to 4 top-tier graduate programs and will be pursuing her MPH in Healthcare Management at Columbia University in New York.
