The Newcomb Scholars have been working hard this year. The Class of 2014 is in the process of planning the Second Annual Newcomb Scholars Symposium; the women in the Class of 2015 are working tirelessly to complete their case studies on women, policy, and change; the class of 2016 have completed their first triumph in the research process--the literature review! Hometown: Glen Ellyn, IL

Academic Majors: Psychology and Sociology, minor in Public Health

Research Interest: The development of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) in young children and adolescents, as well as effective interventions for improving social functioning in ASD patients.

Interesting Fact:  Anneke will be studying abroad in Copenhagen next semester through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Her core coursework will be in European Clinical Psychology. She is thrilled for the opportunity to venture to Europe!
