Welcome to the Newcomb College Institute.  In fulfilling our mission to educate women for leadership, we aim to connect the research, teaching, and community service missions of Tulane University.

As Newcomb College has always done, we create a woman-centered experience in a co-educational institution.  Whether you are a current student at Tulane University, alumna, or member of our New Orleans women’s community, we strive to be a  center for mentoring the next generation of women leaders through innovative teaching on gender issues, service learning courses, and engaging public programs.  Our research center, archives, and library are resources for all.  Located in three separate buildings, 43 Newcomb Place, the Caroline Richardson Building, and 1326 Audubon Street, the Newcomb College Institute is a pivotal link between women students, faculty members, and community activists.
