Collat Media Internship Program
Collat Media Interns are paired with Newcomb Fellows or NCI staff members to complete a digital media project over the course of a semester. Projects include blogging, web development, programming, digital archiving, designing interactive exhibits and more.
Call for Proposals for Fall 2013
Fall proposal deadline: July 15, 2013
Are you planning to work on a digital media or technical project this summer? The Collat Media Internship Program is seeking proposals for projects that will be developed during Summer 2013. Proposed projects should encourage students to use digital media or technology for positive change efforts in the community, or as they produce and/or publish new knowledge gained through individual and group research. Projects that address issues of gender are strongly encouraged to apply.
Both faculty and students are eligible to submit project proposals. Faculty should submit proposals to work with a student on a digital media project relating to their research. Individual students work with a project mentor to submit an original project proposal that involves a digital media component. This paid internship will fund a student for up to 250 hours on a given project.
