Call for Proposals
We accept proposals for projects that will be part of the Collat Media Internship Program each semester. For more information, contact Jaelle Scheuerman at jscheuer@tulane.edu.
What is the Collat Media Internship Program?
The Collat Media Internship Program encourages students to gain new media and technology skills by making use of digital media technologies in a semester or year-long project. These projects encourage students to use digital media or technology for positive change efforts in the community, or as they produce and/or publish new knowledge gained through individual and group research. Students work at the Collat Media Lab, where they have access to resources including computer hardware, software applications, video production equipment, technical training resources and a community of students, faculty and staff working on similar projects. Both faculty and students are eligible to submit project proposals. Faculty should submit proposals to work with a student on a digital media project relating to their research. Individual students work with a project mentor to submit an original project proposal that involves a digital media component. This paid internship will fund a student for up to 250 hours on a given project.
