Newcomb Regional Book Clubs
Spring 2011 marked the first gatherings of the Newcomb Book Club. These evenings of friendship and conversation, open to all Newcomb and Tulane alumnae and alumni, proved to be so successful that the NAA continues to expand the number of cities hosting book clubs, offering fall and spring gatherings in selected cities.
This fall the Newcomb Book Clubs will discuss and possibly share a dish featured in New Orleans Cuisine: Fourteen Signature Dishes and Their Histories, edited by Newcomb Archivist Susan Tucker (NC '72). The book features essays on the history of New Orleans food, famous restaurants, the difference between Cajun and Creole and much more. Each essay consists of recommended serving instructions for the dish or beverage, which can be brought to your local book club.
Alumnae living in the regions below should watch their mail and email for information about the Newcomb Book Club in their area.

The spring Book Club selection will be announced this fall.
