THE NEWCOMB ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION
The Newcomb Alumnae Association is the women's undergraduate alumnae association at Tulane University. Founded in 1910 as the Alumnae Association of Newcomb College, the NAA is affiliated with the Newcomb College Institute and offers programing and services to Newcomb College graduates and all undergraduate Tulane alumnae.
The NAA's mission is to strengthen personal, collegiate and professional connections among its members. The Association honors the legacy of the H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College by supporting undergraduate women's education at the Newcomb College Institute and Tulane University.
Just as the Newcomb Alumnae Association was part of Newcomb College, so too does the NAA work in partnership with the Newcomb Alumnae Relations office and other staff of the Newcomb College Institute to promote greater connections between alumnae, NCI and Tulane by:
The NAA works closely with our counterparts at the Tulane Alumni Association, but is an integral part of the NCI.
You strengthen our Association of over 23,000 women undergraduates of Newcomb College and Tulane University by your participation in the activities of the NAA. The NAA is governed by a board of directors, elected by alumnae and representing the needs of our members. The Association depends on volunteers to provide outreach and opportunities to alumnae and undergraduates. Read on to learn more about how you can support the NAA and what we can offer you.
