• Gilda Armstrong-Butler was honored with assignment as the Deputy Executive Director of Louisiana Spirit Hurricane Recovery program (the state's federally funded crisis counseling program awarded after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita).  She is currently responsible for programmatic development and oversight of mental health services for infant, children and youth within the Office of Mental Health.  She is also the Principal Investigator for three federal grants.
