The Albert Lupin Memorial Theater—The Lupin Theater, located in the Dixon Annex, is a black box performance space with adjustable seating. IT is the primary production space for Tulane Univeristy Theater.
Dixon Hall – Dixon Hall is a secondary space, occasionally rented by the department in arrangement with the Music department and is used for shows suited to the proscenium format, as well as the yearly Newcomb Dance Concert.
Theatre Lab (McWilliams 104) – this space acts as both a classroom and performance space. Utilized for workshops and one acts, this space is a “mini-Lupin” in that it is also a black box space, seating approximately 50-60 people. Upon occasion, main stage productions are mounted in this space.
Room 300 – this space is used for Above the Oaks, Young Performers Dance Concert, and various other dance performances and presentations.
Costume Shop (McWilliams 103) – Equipped for all levels of costume construction, the costume shop can build or alter any fabric or combination of fabrics. Set up for either draping or flat pattern construction, the shop is able to build a wide range of period and specialty costume products.
Scene Shop (McWilliams 102) – Fully equipped for scenic construction, Tulane’s scene shop allows construction of a wide variety of scenic elements including, but not limited to, traditional scenery, metalworking, and furniture.
Costume Storage—located within the costume shop, this houses the permanent collection of costume stock containing items from a wide range of periods.
Electric’s Storage—this space houses a portion of the low demand electrical hardware and serves as a repair center for lighting and sound.
Properties Storage—these rooms are home to the greater portion of Tulane’s stock of hand props.
Uptown Square—the university has assigned the dept. space at Uptown Square to store the following items: furniture, large props, chests, desks, columns, costumes, and reusable architecture items, seasonal properties and properties belonging to Patchwork Players and the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane.
