Melissa Pausina

Dr. Pausina's compositions have been internationally performed/presented/commissioned by Cygnus Ensemble (NYC), Ensemble Surplus (Freiburg, Germany), Momenta Quartet (NYC), Composers Collaborative inc. (NYC), and the Oregon Bach Festival (Eugene, OR). Among her awards and fellowships are the American Composers Forum Pascal Gallois Bassoon Competition, the American Composers Forum New Voices Competition. She was a fellow at the Darmstadt International Institute for New Music, the Oregon Bach Festival's Composer Symposium and was the recipient of a grant from Pew Charitable Trusts.
