Carson Keeble is currently in his second season as 2nd trombone with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
Prior to joining the LPO, Carson was the 2nd trombonist in the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra from 2004 to 2006. Other notable organizations Carson has held positions with include the Santa Fe Symphony, Monterrey Symphony of Mexico, and Orchestra ‘X' of Houston.In 2003, Mr. Keeble was Assistant Professor of Trombone at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Additionally, Carson has consistently held a private studio of middle and high school-aged students since 2000.
Carson holds degrees from Rice's Shepherd School of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and the Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences. His primary trombone teachers include Raymond Premru, James DeSano, Steve Witser, Milton Stevens, and David Waters.
Carson is looking forward to spending the summer of 2008 in New Mexico where he will be joining the Santa Fe Opera for the 2nd consecutive season.
