Register a Student for Honors Thesis

The instructions for signing up a student for Honors Thesis are attached here. Please read these attached instructions carefully.

Register a Student for Independent Studies

The instructions for signing up a student for Independent Study are attached here. Please read these attached instructions and the ones to follow very carefully. This will ensure that your student is successfully signed up.

First, in signing up for an independent study, please note the following: (1) The student needs to consult with the professor whom he/she will do the IS with in order to get everything set up properly and to get all the relevant information (see form) to provide to the secretary who will actually perform the operation to register/unblock the student. {Also, note: the secretary cannot assist with the consultation to set up the IS, as it is an academic process that must be handled by a professor).

Also, please note: (2) That the secretary can ONLY begin the IS enrollment process once he/she has all of the information in a single email or on the form. If you read the form carefully, (3) the student will also find that there is a requirement that it is your directing professor who must email the secretary to authorize the process. The IS enrollment procedure cannot begin until the professor has sent the secretary that authorizing email.
