Professor Cooley has published eight books of poetry, the most recent of which is Divine Margins (Carnegie Mellon, 2009)  and in 2013 Carnegie Mellon will release his new book Night Bus to the Afterlife.  He was the 2011 recipeint of an ATLAS  grant from the state of Lousiiana which enables him to work on my new book Aftermaths.

A portion of Aftermaths  was just awarded the Marble Faun first place prize in poetry from the Faulkner Society of New Orleans.
