Suzanne J. Walker, Assistant Professor, History of Art
Suzanne J. Walker earned a BA at Swarthmore College, an MA at Stanford University, and a PhD at UC Berkeley. She is the author of several articles about the culture of hunting in early modern Europe and is currently at work on a book on the representation of violence in the works of Peter Paul Rubens. Her research and teaching interests include baroque painting, Spanish art, print culture, eighteenth-century art, and gender and the body in early modern art.
