The New Orleans Center for the Gulf South (NOCGS) sponsors conferences held in New Orleans or concerned with scholarship of the region. Over the course of the year, there are three deadlines for funding. The next deadline is April 1, 2013.
To apply, submit a proposal that includes the name and dates of the conference or symposium, a budget, specific distribution of the funds, and other sources of financial support. Proposals may be submitted at any time until the deadline and will be reviewed by an Executive Committee of the NOCGS.
A proposal cannot be funded by both the Center for Scholars and the Gulf South Center (i.e., no double-dipping).
