"My four years at Tulane were so special because of the friendships that I developed with classmates who were from every corner of the United States and abroad. I welcome you all to participate in our 20th reunion and also encourage you to give back to Tulane in a way that's meaningful to you." --Michael Hollingsworth, A&S'92

Only in New Orleans

I didn't just go to college at Tulane; I lived in New Orleans which is an education in and of itself!  President Cowen has done a phenomenal job of being a leader for the city and Tulane as a whole. I love the fact that Tulane staff, faculty and students are making a commitment to New Orleans to make it even better than it was pre-Katrina. But no matter how much New Orleans changes, it still feels like home. And when you go to New Orleans, it feels like coming home, especially when you stop by Domilise's for a shrimp po-boy and see that the same folks still work there.

Only at Tulane

Because New Orleans is such a special place, Tulane is truly a unique university. You can't pick up Tulane and put it anywhere, nor can you do the same for New Orleans. What's kept me in touch with Tulane all these years is the fact that the city and the university touched something in me, and they both continue to play an integral role in shaping who I am today.

Only Us

Think about the four years you spent at Tulane. If yours were half as good as mine, then you must want Tulane to remain a strong national institution and a leader in the development of New Orleans. When you look at where you are today, you can see just how many wonderful opportunities grew out of your Tulane experiences. Our success is directly tied to your college success, and for that reason you owe it to your alma mater to give back in a way that is meaningful to you.

“I am happy to step up and represent my class. Tulane gave us so much, and now we have an opportunity to make sure what we experienced at all levels is not only there for today’s students, but continues far into the future.”

- Bob Wolfberg, A&S'92

Only In New Orleans

As students at Tulane we fell in love with New Orleans. It is hard to put my finger on it, but there is something magical in the atmosphere of the city. It is really like no place else. And one of the greatest things about the city is that it is home to Tulane. Only in New Orleans can you find a university like Tulane. Most of my friends who attended universities in different cities typically received a one-dimensional college experience. At Tulane, we had an opportunity to partake of everything from Creole cuisine to world-class architecture and music. New Orleans is a very unique place that gave us so much on so many levels. When the weather is nice, as it usually is in October, it is the most spectacular city in the country. It is so relaxing, so beautiful. It’s a wonderful place to be. We love New Orleans!

Only At Tulane

It was always fun eating crawfish and hearing the Radiators play on the Quad. As students, we also had the opportunity to watch Tulane basketball rise to greatness. It was the beginning of the Perry Clark years, and we were there. Remember our freshman year when the basketball program was struggling back to life? By our senior year, we were competing in the NCAA tournament. More importantly, Tulane turned us into adults, not just intellectually, but socially and culturally. That’s really what we love about Tulane: the fact that it offered us so much in so many ways. And you can rest assured that Tulane and New Orleans have been reborn since Hurricane Katrina. The campus has changed quite a bit, but it still feels the way it did when we were there, like New Orleans in general.
