Arrive at the Superdome no later than 8 a.m. Everyone entering the Dome will be subject to increased security, including bag checks and hand-held metal detectors so please plan accordingly. To review a map and a list of prohibited items visit the Mercedes-Benz Superdome page.
We will be moving you to the staging area at 8:40 a.m. The Unified Ceremony starts promptly at 9 a.m.
Free shuttles. If you plan to depart from the uptown campus, free shuttle buses will run from the Reily Center to the Superdome starting at 7 a.m. Shuttle buses will return to the uptown campus following the Unified Commencement Ceremony, A.B. Freeman School of Business Graduate Diploma Ceremony and the Newcomb-Tulane College Diploma Ceremony, with the last return to the uptown campus departing from the Superdome Gate A on Poydras St. at 6 p.m.
Following the Unified Commencement Ceremony, shuttle buses will also make continuous loops from Superdome Gate A to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, stopping at Hall H for the Medical School Diploma Ceremony and Hall A for the Law School Diploma Ceremony. Post-ceremony shuttle buses will resume from the convention center stops to the Superdome Gate A ramp from 3:30 to 5 p.m., where guests can catch shuttles back to the uptown campus.
Parking. Parking will be available at the Superdome for $10 (cash only). Garage attendants will punch parking tickets upon entry. If you plan to leave the Superdome after the Unified Commencement Ceremony and return for the Newcomb-Tulane College Diploma Ceremony, you must present the punched parking ticket upon reentry.
Personal Belongings. There is no secure location to store your personal items. Please make arrangements to keep personal belongings with your guests; otherwise you will need to carry those items with you throughout the day. There will be a Lost and Found at the Guest Relations Center at Gate A, Plaza level.
Where to go. Enter through Gate G, plaza level and take the escalator up one flight to the CLUB level. Please look for the room number that corresponds with your school.

Refreshments. Refreshments will be available for purchase on the Plaza level of the Superdome.
Follow the leader. A team of Tulane staff members (“line leaders”) will prepare you for the descent to the Superdome floor—please follow their directions. Line leaders will escort you from your robing room to the seating area.
After the Unified Ceremony. At the conclusion of the Unified Ceremony, you are free to exit the building through Gate A, ground level or proceed to other events within the Superdome. If you are attending the Newcomb-Tulane College Diploma Ceremony you will need to return to Gate A, ground level at 2:45 p.m.
Where to go. Enter Gate C, plaza level and take the escalator up one flight to the CLUB level. Please look for the room number that corresponds with your school.
Also, please do not bring small children with you to the robing rooms, as they will not be able to accompany you to the floor seating area and we are unable to watch them for you.

After the ceremony, you may go backstage and either 1) pick up your diploma (Liberal Arts and Science & Engineering only); 2) report your lineup area for or leave the building to attend your school's graduate-level diploma ceremony.
