Tulane University’s Unified Commencement Ceremony honors the graduates from all of the university's schools and colleges. The Undergraduate Diploma Ceremony will begin about 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Unified Commencement Ceremony (approximately 11:15 a.m.). All undergraduates enrolled in Newcomb-Tulane College and the School of Continuing Studies will come together in a single ceremony to receive their degrees.
Undergraduates in the Schools of Liberal Arts, Science and Engineering, Continuing Studies, Business and Public Health and Tropical Medicine will remain seated following the Unified Ceremony as the graduate and professional students depart. The Undergraduate Diploma Ceremony should conclude by approximately 1 p.m.
Graduate and professional students in the Schools of Architecture, Business, Law and Public Health and Tropical Medicine will receive their diplomas later that afternoon at the various graduate and professional level diploma ceremonies on the uptown campus.
The School of Medicine will have a ceremony at the downtown Hitlon Riverside Hotel. The School of Social Work ceremony will be in the Iberville Club of the Dome.
