Louisiana Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS)
General Information
TOPS is a scholarship program funded by the state of Louisiana. Students who have been Louisiana residents for at least two years and have graduated from a Louisiana high school are eligible to apply for TOPS. The maximum award at Tulane is the average Louisiana public college tuition and may include a stipend for students with higher grade point averages and/or ACT scores. Please check the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) website at www.ofsa.state.la.us/ for detailed information for the criteria and amounts of the various awards, as well as TOPS application information.

TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students) is a program of state scholarships for Louisiana residents who attend either one of the Louisiana Public Colleges and Universities, schools that are a part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Louisiana approved Proprietary and Cosmetology Schools or institutions that are a part of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
The four different award components of the TOPS Program are: TOPS Opportunity Award, TOPS Performance Award, TOPS Honors Award, and TOPS Tech Award. To access your TOPS and other LOSFA-administered award information, click here to register for the Louisiana Award System.
