Power Plant

Power Plant engineers operate and maintain the central plant, which generates electricity, steam and chilled water for heating and cooling of most campus buildings.  The Power Plant is staffed at all times.

The Plant also responds to certain service calls at 504-865-5445 when the Customer Service desk is not open.  (Customer Service is open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.)
