About the Walk: Autism Spectrum Disorder refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and communication. There are many subtypes of autism, and thus each person with autism can have unique strengths and challenges. The Louisiana Autism Speaks Walk advocates for the diverse needs of the autistic community. The walk generates research funds and helps connect families to lifelong supports and services.

Directions to Register:

1. Go to http://act.autismspeaks.org/site/TR?fr_id=3720&pg=entry

2. Select the orange ‘Register’ button at the top of the screen. Then select ‘Join a Team’, then ‘Register Now’

3. Search for ‘Tulane University Neuroscience Association’ and click the blue ‘Join’ button

4. Complete the Registration Form

Directions to Donate:

1. Go to http://act.autismspeaks.org/site/TR?fr_id=3720&pg=entry

2. Select the blue ‘Donate’ button at the top of the screen. Then switch from ‘Search for a Participant’ to ‘Search for a Team’

3. Search for ‘Tulane University Neuroscience Association’ and click on the orange ‘Donate Now’ button

4. Fill out the donation form and click ‘Submit’
