This workshop is an introduction to the concept of oppression and the common ways in which oppression manifests across various axes, including race, class, gender, sexuality, ability status, age, religion and more. 

What is oppression?

"Conscious and unconscious attitudes and behaviors directed towards a subordinate group coupled with the power and privilege of the advantaged group and manifested at individual, cultural, and institutional levels."
