Dean's Colloquium w/Dr. Ned Hallowell, M ‘78

The John J. Witmeyer III Dean's Colloquium series, which invites distinguished alumni back to campus to discuss their careers, presents psychiatrist and learning differences specialist Ned Hallowell. He is the founder of the Hallowell Centers, which specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of learning differences, especially attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia, in adults and children. Having both ADHD and dyslexia himself, he sees them not as disorders but rather as traits that can confer enormous benefit.

Sober Event Monitor Training

Location: Uptown Campus
LBC 203 - Stibbs


Hosting social events with alcohol is a privilege granted to student organizations by Tulane University. The Alcohol Policy requires student organizations that wish to host events with alcohol to have Sober Event Monitors in place during their event. The Sober Event Monitor training helps students make sound choices when faced with difficult decisions about alcohol use. The training is an interactive, discussion-based program facilitated by a trained Sober Event Monitor facilitator.
