First Do No Self- Harm: Working with Communities Traumatized by Disaster with Dr. Charles Figley

Natural disasters and acts of terrorism leave not only physical damage but also leave communities traumatized.  As the Tulane community begins to work with recovery efforts in these areas, we must first to educate ourselves about mental health and the stresses that come from working with traumatized communities. Distinguished Professor Charles Figley will provide an informal overview of how to retain your mental health while trying to help others.

PNM Education Series: Student's Choice, Academic Success Center

Live Well: The Buzz

Originally developed in 2010 at the University of Arizona’s Campus Health Services, “The Buzz” is an alcohol education presentation that uses interactive activities and myth busting facts to facilitate a conversation about alcohol use on college campuses.  This presentation involves trivia and a wide variety of games to provide useful information about alcohol in a playful and relaxed manner.
