  • Working closely with Human Resources and the administration to develop comprehensive and relevant educational leadership programs for managers, supervisors, and the Tulane community, including topics such as: diversity leadership, diversity perspectives, cross-cultural communications, and preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace and academic environment

  • Overseeing and supporting Tulane University's compliance efforts, including federal and state reporting requirements in the areas of equal opportunity and affirmative action, harassment, non-discrimination, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

  • Conducting thorough and fair investigations into complaints of discrimination and sexual harassment; seeking resolution through the means of education, remediation and/or conflict resolution

  • Monitoring recruitment, selection, promotion, transfer, termination, and compensation practices to ensure compliance with equal opportunity regulations

  • Advising and consultating on compensation procedures to ensure equitable treatment of all employees and candidates for employment

  • Serving as a resource to ensure access to all qualified persons with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
