Student-athlete Devon Walker
Green Wave football player Devon Walker was injured during the Tulsa-Tulane football game on Sept. 8. He had surgery following the injury and now has been moved to a comprehensive in-patient rehabilitation center where he will continue his recovery.
The Tulane community has rallied behind Devon. Students have designed and are selling Devon Walker-inspired T-shirts and charm bracelets, with all net proceeds going to the Devon Walker Fund.

May 16-18, 2013 - Commencement Fundraising for Devon Walker
Tulane student-athletes will be selling t-shirts to raise money for the Devon Walker Fund at these Commencement events:
- Graduate crawfish boil, Thurs., May 16: 6-8 p.m.
- Wave Goodbye, Fri., May 17: 5-8:30 p.m.
- Unified Commencement Ceremony, Sat., May 18: 7 a.m. -12 p.m.
The 1st Down Divas Women’s Football Clinic is an opportunity for women to learn and further understand the game of football. Darren Sproles and Lance Moore, of the New Orleans Saints, will be featured speakers along with a few other surprise guests! The evening will feature great food, complementary beverages, a live auction and great door prizes at The Crystal Palace in Harvey, Louisiana from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the 1st Down Divas Women’s Football Clinic will benefit the Devon Walker
Foundation, specifically Devon’s Den. We hope that with your generous support, we can help offset some of Devon’s medical/living expenses. Devon’s Den is the addition of a bedroom and bathroom to the Walker home in Destrehan, LA. The addition will include the technology necessary for Devon’s health and safety as well as enable him to continue his course work at Tulane.
