PLEASE NOTE:   We do not provide remaining numbers of each type of room - we process first come first served basis so the numbers changes daily/hourly.   Please submit contract with choices and we will e-mail you with room reservation confirmation with either 1st, 2nd or 3rd choices.  Thank you for your cooperation.

We process contracts on first-come, first-served basis and cannot reserve rooms without $800 deposit and contract.  We cannot accept  bank transfers or Western Union.  Please send money order or check for deposit or call our office to pay by credit card.

We are happy that you have chosen Deming Pavilion as your home. To make your home run smoothly and efficiently, we have a few guidelines that are to be followed.

Deming Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am - 4pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and University Holidays.

1. Deming Security

Tulane security is located on the first level of Deming Pavilion. Hours: 4PM - 8AM daily Monday - Friday and 24Hrs Weekends. Deming Security: 988-6220, Tulane Police: 988-5531. Guests must sign in/out with security, give name and room number of tenant to be visited. Security will call tenant and with tenant permission allow guest access. Tenant  must meet guest at the security desk.

 

2. Deming Access

There are two (3) ways to access Deming Pavilion:  the main entrance on the first floor (street level), the second floor bridge from the hospital and the rear entrance in the receiving driveway.
All entrances require an access card which is your Tulane ID..

 

3. Trash

Trash is to be brought to the compactor located on the first floor accessed from the service elevator. The service elevator is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.. Garbage is not to be left anywhere except the dumpster located in rear of building on 1st floor.

4. Lockouts/Bikes

Lockouts after 9:00 pm will be charged $50.00 per lockout. This will be billed to your account or at the office. It is against fire and safety codes to block halls and stairwells. Bikes can be kept in your room.

5. Smoking

DEMING PAVILION IS A NON SMOKING FACILITY. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED.

6. Additional Rules

All residents must follow all rules and regulations as stated in Deming Pavilion Housing Contract and Tulane Code of Ethics Handbook.
