[General information]
Deming Pavilion has 300 rooms - studios, large studios, one bedrooms, 2 bedroom/1bath and 2 bedroom/2bath units. Each apartment has basic cable,internet connections (you must supply the ethernet cord) and are included with rent. Utilities ( electricity and water) are also included in the rent amount. If you want telephone service in your room (landline), you must arrange through Telecommunications Department after your move in (we will provide number and location).
[Room rates]
The following room types/rates are available.
- Long term rates (per month) [Nine months or longer].
- Studio: $717
- Large Studio: $773
- One bedroom: $884
- Two bedroom/One bath: $1370 ($685/room)
- Two bedroom/Two bath: $1393 ($696.50/room)
- Short term rates (per month) [Eight months or less].
- Studio: $770
- Large Studio: $830
- One bedroom: $968
- Two bedroom/One bath: $1660 ($830/room)
- Two bedroom/Two bath: $1767 ($883.50/room)
[Furniture]
Each apartment has the following furniture:
Kitchen:
- Refrigerator, stove, microwave
- Note: 2 bedroom units have a pantry
Living area:
- Sofa (or loveseat), chair, open armoire for television with 3 drawers
- Floor lamp
- Coffee table
Bedroom(s):
- Extra long twin bed for studio apartments or
a double bed in large studio, one bedroom and 2 bedroom units. - 4 drawer chest of drawers
- Student desk with chair
- Night stand and lamp
Notes:
You may move the furniture inside the room but you must return to original placement when you are ready to move out or you will be charged a $50 fee. You can bring in furniture of your own; however, there is no storage area and since this is Tulane University property, it cannot be taken off site.
