The Felson Service Fund is made possible by the generosity of the Felson family and the Jayme and Kara Felson Endowed Fund for Public Service. Through this award, the family continues their commitment to Tulane's success in community engagement. In 2007, Joseph and Sherry established the Jayme and Kara Felson Endowed Fund for Public Service to commemorate their service as chairs of the Parents Council and their daughters', Jayme NTC'07 and Kara's SLA'11, memorable time spent as Tulane students. Currently supporting the Felson Service Fund, this endowed fund will provide timely and needed support to programs that foster community engagement at Tulane for years to come. Furthermore, the Felson family has also sponsored the Felson Course Development Grant, which will provide a faculty member with the necessary resources to create and implement a new service-learning course. Together, the CPS programs made possible by the Felson family will play a vital role in helping to ensure that Tulane remains the leader in community engagement among institutions of higher education.
