Student nominations may originate from a student, faculty or staff, or community site supervisor. This award is only open to graduating seniors (or students would graduate in December) who have completed a minimum of 75 hours of public service throughout their undergraduate studies. Finalists will be asked to provide documentation of completed hours.
Nominators or students should complete the online Runsdorf Award Nomination form. Completed award submission will include:
Resumes, personal statements and letters of nomination should be uploaded through the online submission system.
The Runsdorf Award Selection Committee will be comprised of staff from the Center for Public Service and Student Affairs, Tulane faculty, and community representatives. The top 3 finalists will be interviewed, and one student will be chosen.
All award applications will also be considered for the Top 25 Public Service Student Award. Students do not need to submit separate award applications.
Applications are due by April 2, 2014.
Interviews will be completed by April 11, 2014.
