Rebecca Cianci (NTC'13) started a college prep and career planning program at the APEX Youth Center, including services as ACT prep, a resume and essay writing lab, and assistance in finding financial aid or job placement.
Haley Burns (NTC '15) established community relationships and designed interactive seminars for Fund 17, a student-led microfinance non-profit organization that is designed to provide microloans, training, and technical assistance to local entrepreneurs and community members on a neighborhood level.
Ethan Levy (NTC '16)designed Launchange, an online network for universities that hosts a community of people who are working to make the world a better place through social entrepreneurship. As a social business venture, Launchange aims to expand its program to universities across the country.
Natalie Lirette (NTC '16)volunteered with a number of different organizations including the Tulane Green Club and Our School at Blair Grocery. She enjoyed volunteering most with organizations that are focused on greening the city, restoring lost or damaged land, as well as agriculture and farming businesses.She plans to volunteer with the Sierra Club and the Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Riding Center more heavily during the 2013-14 school year.
