The Center for Public Service is committed to doing its part to help serve the New Orleans community by providing and facilitating opportunities for those both locally and nationally who wish to commit themselves to volunteering for the betterment of the New Orleans area. We applaud your effort to help rebuild the City of New Orleans. Please follow the instructions below to help us facilitate your needs in an efficient manner. Once again, thank you.
Forward this information as soon as possible. We will need to check with your desired volunteer groups to make sure they can accommodate volunteer activities during the dates you plan to visit.
You will be contacted a few days before your arrival to make sure that you have all the information necessary to participate in your desired volunteer project(s). For example, location of project(s), project coordinator(s) and time the project(s) will start and stop for each day of your visit. We will verify that you have arrived safely in New Orleans and that your volunteer experience is going according to plan.
After your visit has concluded, you will be contacted to talk about your volunteer project to make sure everything went as planned. We ask that you complete a brief survey/evaluation of the project(s) and your experience in New Orleans in order to gain feedback on the assistance provided through the HelpNOLA program and to gauge your level of interest in future work in New Orleans.
Once again, thank you for supporting the redevelopment of New Orleans in partnership with Tulane's HelpNOLA program.
