Descriptions: The Marketing & Communications Intern will work the Programs, Marketing & Communications Office in conjunction with other departments of the Foundation as required in the following by assisting with membership communications; website maintenance, press releases, distribution of written and electronic communications as well as provide general administrative support of the Programs Marketing & Communications Office.
Product of Partnership: Will complete hours and various projects as assigned
Final Product Special Instructions:? Assist with distributions of electronic & written announcements ? Maintain Programs, Marketing and Communication office administrative files ? Assist with administrative support to all senior staff when requested ? Provide personnel and/or administrative support for events outside of business hours such as but not limited to: o Festival events and activities o Special events o Program events ? Assist with database maintenance, including but not limited to press listings and industry listings ? Assist with writing of Foundation press releases ? Assist with sponsorship & grant proposals as needed ? Assist with communications outside of the Foundation as assigned ? Assist with the maintenance of the Foundation website as assigned

Work will principally occur at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Headquarters, but might also occur other places such as festival or other event locations.
