One-to-One Tutor for high schoolers

Descriptions: Students are needed to tutor for an intervention program on Saturday mornings. The program is for kids who didn?t do an assignment and need to get it done, kids who drop below a C average to do remediation, and kids who just want extra help. Anywhere from 30 ? 300 students may show up on a given day. Assistance needed in all academic disciplines including Math, Science, English, French or Spanish, but we don't know what's needed until the day prior.

Requirements

Background Checks is Required. Semester long volunteers all need a background check. Short term volunteers can do a background check on site.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.

Location and Travel

Students will work at Warren Easton High School.
Transportation options:Public Transportation less than 45 ride from Tulane
CPS Van
15-20 minute bicycle ride from Tulane

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Check in with Mr. Gilyot.
Students track their hours at site: Through time sheets.
