Final Product Special Instructions:Document medications as residents take them out of a box. Assist coordinators with referrals to partner facilities. Observe during group counseling sessions. Assist reception team and vocational counseling.

Blood work is Required. If TB test shows positive, with x-ray as well.
Other requirement: Streetwise, have good boundaries, confidentiality, understanding of people?s situation.
Pencil, paper, something to take notes with.
The CP requests emergency contact information.Extensive process (as if an employee, except for CPR training) including Emergency Information, work history.
Evaluations/surveys will be requested by community partner to be completed by students.
Program evaluation, what they learned and what they feel can be better.
Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.

Check-in at the site: Check in with counselor who is supervising you.
Students track their hours at site: Keep personal time-sheet.
Students will work unsupervised:Rare, while observing clients medication (no controlled substances).
In a room, one client at a time and pull out the medication, student makes a count, writes it on a sheet. Student does not touch anything.
Dave Thomas, Clinical Support person is across the hall the door is open. There a line of clients awaiting for medications outside the door.
