Descriptions: Assist with planning all aspects of the Museum’s Knit Your Bit program. Includes: • Learning about the history of Knit Your Bit and researching and developing knitting information and opportunities to expand our national, grass-roots program to produce hand-knit scarves for veterans in appreciation of their service to our country. • Assisting Museum staff with sorting, organizing and mailing scarves. • Maintaining database of senders and receivers. • Compiling, organizing, and creating materials for onsite events, local and national outreach. • Attending and assisting with Knit-ins and scarf handouts on select Saturdays. • Assist with other Education Department projects as needed.

Students allowed to take pictures or video.
Availability Requirements:Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays
