French Quarter Festival Volunteers

Descriptions: French Quarter Festival is looking for volunteers to work in different areas of our festival. Positions available: Beer/Beverage Booth Assistance Beer/Beverage Booth Cashiers Information Booths Merchandise Booths Survey Takers Festival Support Crew Booths located in: *Jackson Square *Riverfront *Old US Mint Volunteer Benefits: Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one shift of up to 5 hours and will receive: ?A limited edition, collectible volunteer t-shirt to be worn while volunteering. ?Food/beverage tickets for each volunteer who works a complete shift. ?Loads of appreciation from the community and French Quarter Festival staff-and the satisfaction of a job well done! Requirements

Other requirement: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Some shifts require handling alcohol and these volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.
If you are working in a beverage or beer booth please present id upon check-in.
The CP requests emergency contact information.In case of emergencies on the festival grounds we request a contact phone number.
Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: Volunteers may take photos but there are no photos or video of performances allowed.

Location and Travel

At locations around the French Quarter
Transportation options:Public Transportation less than 45 ride from Tulane
good to have vehicle
Carpooling or biking is suggested though the ride is longer than 15 minutes by bike

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Volunteers will visit the Check-in location for their shift.
Students track their hours at site: Our volunteer check-in staff will mark attendance.
