Descriptions: Assist teacher with the daily implementation of activities, including instruction, behavior management, transitions and routines, centers, lunch and recess duty.
Product of Partnership: Increased service for ReNEW students; experience in at-risk, urban school setting for Tulane student
Final Product Special Instructions:Assist in implementation of daily educational activities, and when needed, light administrative duties such as preparing family/community newsletters.

Requirements

Other requirement: Daily sign-in.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: Pictures and video may not be made public unless EVERY child in the picture or video has signed a release form. This form must be on file with the sponsoring ReNEW teacher.

Availability

Location and Travel

Students will work at Batiste Cultural Arts Academy or SciTech Academy.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Sign-in a pre-prepared folder labeled with the student's name on the front.
Students track their hours at site: The sign in/out sheet provided in the folder.
