Descriptions: Open call for street newspaper editorial contributors. Beginning December 2012, New Orleans Street Exchange (NSX) will publish a bi-monthly ?street newspaper?, The Exchange. The purpose of The Exchange is to provide alternative coverage of, and to educate the general public about, local poverty issues; and, to provide a public space for those who are currently experiencing or who have experienced homelessness to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. The Exchange is a non-partisan, secular community newspaper that will publish high-quality, socially-themed articles and feature stories, and will strive to create a collective impact through its accurate, balanced, and un-biased content. We are looking for newspaper contributors to become part of this local movement.
