Requirements

Background Checks is Required. Tulane students are asked to turn forms in to the Center for Public Service within the first three weeks in the academic semester.
The CP requests emergency contact information.Emergencies.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: Dress code. Volunteers are asked to dress modestly and professionally. Prohibited: flip flops, t-shirts with advertisements, short shorts/skirts/shirts.

Location and Travel

In the school or school yard.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Sign in and go through security. Volunteers are turned away at the door if they are not dressed appropriately.
Students track their hours at site: A sign-in book at the front administrative office.
