Descriptions: Eden House is looking for a committed student to help us grow our social media and general digital presence. This position will focus on website and social media outreach and marketing. Eden House is a small organization, and it needs help to grow. Ideally we are looking for someone with social media, outreach, marketing and/or website maintenance and creation experience, but we invite anyone to apply! This intern will be responsible for using social media and other digital means to help us connect with our friends, partners, volunteers donors, and supporters. The intern will be responsible for daily updating and posting on our Facebook account and website page, and ensuring that website information is up to date. In addition, the intern will maintain and populate a twitter handle for Eden House, as well as other media outlets that the Director or staff may think useful. A large part of this internship will be research and studying best practices for this type of work. This is an exciting position for someone who wants to gain knowledge and skills in content creation in these digital mediums. The intern will work hand in hand with various members of our staff. As a small and newly created organization, Eden House often has events or service projects which require everyone to lend a hand. The intern will be expected to attend most of these events, and to document the experience on Facebook, Twitter, and our website and engage other users through these channels. This position is designed for a part or full time student, minimum of 10 hours per week. However, those hours are flexible.
