Descriptions: The Program Management Intern will work alongside the Executive Director and the Chair of the Program and Fundraising Committee in order to learn the basic infrastructure of a non-profit organization. Key responsibilities will include assistance with grant research and writing, updating of internal documents, website and newsletter marketing, and assistance preparing for the Girls on the Run end-of-season 5K celebration. The intern will also have the opportunity to attend board and committee meetings, and may serve on the Program Committee. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, the Intern will complete an Organization Manual consisting of the projects on which she has worked.

Final Product Special Instructions:Under guidance of the Executive Director and Program/Fundraising Chairs, the Intern will be responsible for grants research and writing, updating of internal and programmatic documents, assistance with our newsletter and website, and assistance with our end-of-season 5K celebration. The Intern will attend board and committee meetings as necessary, and will serve as a member of the Program Committee.

Minimum Service Hours per month: 25

The student will work both at Tulane and at the office of the Director.
Walking distance to Tulane
15-20 minute bicycle ride from Tulane
Check-in at the site: The Intern will meet directly with the Director, who will sign off on hours.
Students track their hours at site: The student will use a standard scheduling sheet to track her hours.
