Descriptions: Volunteers are asked to participate in all aspects of home construction. You do not need any experience, just a willingness to eradicate substandard housing in New Orleans.

Requirements

Other requirement: Each volunteer must be at least 16 years of age. Each volunteer must sign a waiver form.
A lunch and a bottle of water.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.

Availability

Location and Travel

Students will work at a variety of sites in the New Orleans Area.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will be greeted by a construction staff member each morning and will be given a safety talk and orientation.
Students track their hours at site: There are construction supervisors available to sign time sheets.
The student will be driving a community partner vehicle.
