Descriptions: The Childcare Program Development Intern will help Catholic Charities' Adult Education program develop a concurrent program for engaging youth in fun and educational activities while their parents are learning English.
Product of Partnership: A portfolio of age appropriate activities and a report of the program's development and progress will be expected at the end of the semester
This service activity is availble for Intern students Volunteers.
Background Checks is Required. Catholic Charities requires a background check for all staff and volunteers that have interaction with youth.
Other requirement: Catholic Charities has a mandatory pre-service orientation session every semester.

The CP requests emergency contact information.In case of a medical emergency, their designated Emergency Contact will be notified.
Evaluations/surveys will be requested by community partner to be completed by students.
Short end of semester surveys are administered.
Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: A confidentiality policy will be covered during the pre-service orientation.

Every semester, a Cultural Night Celebration brings together students and volunteers for fellowship and an international potluck.
