Descriptions: Intern will support low-income residents by helping them develop their careers and find gainful employment. The Intern will be responsible for researching potential career pathways, open job positions, job fairs, and potential employer connections. The intern will work with the program manager and participants to assess potential interests. Evaluations/surveys will be requested by community partner to be completed by students.
To improve the role, the student may be asked to complete an evaluation at the end of the semester.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: Participants are low-income and otherwise disadvantaged youth ages 18-21. Student must be comfortable with this population.

Check-in at the site: Students will check-in with site supervisor when coming to the office.
Students track their hours at site: Students will self-monitor their hours on a spreadsheet, which the supervisor will then approve.
Students will work unsupervised:May work individually with participants to provide help with career interest planning, job searches, resume building, mock interviews, etc.
