Descriptions: The Case Management Intern will support the disadvantaged youth participants by working with the program manager to provide social support and connections to further resources. Duties may include conducting a participant's needs assessment, help students identify and plan how to address life barriers, connect participants to further community resources, continually monitor participants' well-being.
Product of Partnership: community referral/resource binder for participants; presentation; presentation; depends on student interests
Final Product Special Instructions:Case Management Interns would help provide social support and connect participants to further resources. Intern will work with the program manager and support participants individually.

Background Checks is Required. If the role requires a background check, the organization will pay.
Evaluations/surveys will be requested by community partner to be completed by students.
To improve the intern position for future students, the intern may be asked to complete an evaluation at the end of the semester.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.
Specific Policies: Participants are low-income and disadvantaged youth ages 18-21. Intern must be comfortable with this population.

Check-in at the site: Students will check-in with the site supervisor upon arrival to the organization.
Students track their hours at site: Students will self-monitor their hours on a spreadsheet. The supervisor will give final approval.
