Descriptions: The Marketing Intern will create and implement a strategy to market Radiant
Barrier and increase the number of Home Energy Raters in the Alliance?s
Providership. The marketing strategy must be geared to increase sales and include
advertising, product pitch, target population, etc.
Increase public awareness of Radiant Barrier foil.
Participate in outreach events and improve tabling presentation.
Develop marketing strategy for Radiant Barrier & Rater Providership.
Search for timely, relevant articles and post them to the website.
Develop advertising for the Service and Radiant Barrier include content for the website.
Determine the appropriate target markets and develop an ?elevator pitch.?

Length of Internship: Summer (June-August)
Time commitment: Min. 20-30 hours a week for the duration of the agreed upon service
Qualifications: The candidate should be in Marketing, Communication or other related major. Excellent organizational and communication/writing skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, high energy, planning skills, ability to anticipate needs and opportunities, flexible schedule, ability to work from home when needed.
The Alliance for Affordable Energy is a non-profit organization that works toward fair, affordable, environmentally responsible energy policy for Louisiana and the nation.
We also work to promote the sustainable rebuilding of our city, promoting energy efficiency, environmentally responsible building techniques and residential solar power.
