Descriptions: The Intern's purpose is to facilitate and lead a progressive clean energy efficiency
movement in New Orleans, as well as,
Length of Internship: Summer (June-August)
Time commitment: Min. 20 hours a week for the duration of the agreed upon service.
Qualifications: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, highly organized self-starter, Bachelor?s degree or higher in a technical or business field, strong listening and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity about clean energy resources and climate changes relating to gas, coal and oil resources.
The Alliance for Affordable Energy is a non-profit organization that works toward fair, affordable, environmentally responsible energy policy for Louisiana and the nation.
We also work to promote the sustainable rebuilding of our city, promoting energy efficiency, environmentally responsible building techniques and residential solar power.
